Electrical conductivity of highly non-ideal alkali plasmas at 4000 <= T <= 190000K and 130 <= P <= 1100 atm

Description

The temperature dependences of the electrical conductivity of Cs, K, Na and Li plasmas at 4000 <= T <= 19000K and 130 <= P <= 1100 atm are obtained by the method of isobaric ohmic heating. The cesium conductivity isothermal pressure dependence reveals a minimum at P approximately 200-300 atm and a high pressure increase. This phenomenon gradually disappears from Cs to Li and is explained by non-ideality and quantum effects. The non-dimensional Coulomb electrical conductivity dependence on γ=e2nsub(e)sup(1/3)/kT is given up to γ approximately 1. (Auth.)
