Methyl cellosolvates of metals
- 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Moscow (Russian Federation)
Description
Various synthesis methods and mair physico-chemical characteristics of methyl collosolvates of Na, Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, I, La, Nd, Sn, Zr, Hf, Bi, Nb, Mo, W, Fe, Co, Ni, metals, as well as of Mo and Bi methyl cellosolvates are considered. Cellosolvates are isolated from ROH solutions as liquids or viscous pastes. They are more resistant to hydrolysis, oxidation and decomposition with ether elimination, than alcoholates. The results of investigation testify to availability of rather mobile equilibrium of oligomerization and decrease of their association in contrast to alcoholates. Existence in preparations of M(OR)n associates of various size and structure, which oligomerization takes place as a result of chelation of OR-groups, is supposed. Be and Cu polymeric derivatives and MO2(OR)2 (M=Mo, W), monomeric in all aggregative states, make up an exclusion
