A Coordinated Set of GIF/INPRO Proliferation Resistance and Safeguardability Assessment Tools: Introduction into the INPRO Collaborative Project PROSA

PROSA - Ultimate Goal: • Make the assessment of Proliferation Resistance simpler, less time consuming. • Make findings of the assessment more understandable (by identifying strengths and weaknesses). • Use only the depth of analysis necessary to address the user's needs, e.g. for the simplest, preliminary assessment: – At the Facility level - safeguardability analysis; – At the State level - legal obligations including full implementation of the additional protocol; – At the NES level - acquisition path analysis. • Improve volume 5 of the INPRO manual on Assessment of Proliferation Resistance.
