Top quark physics at the LHC
Description
An overview of the results on top quark physics from Run 1 of the LHC is presented. The ATLAS and CMS experiments each recorded about 5 fb-1 of pp collision data at √s = 7 TeV and 20 fb-1 at √s = 8 TeV, allowing comprehensive studies of tt-bar and single top production, precise measurements of the top mass, and studies of top quark decays. The results are generally in impressive agreement with the predictions of the Standard Model. (author)
