Radioactive waste processing system
Description
A step of accurately recognizing radioactive nuclides and radioactivity concentration contained in wastes before applying a solidification treatment is newly introduced to a waste processing system. Further, the weight and the surface radiation dose of the solidification product after the solidification treatment are measured for accurately recognizing an inventory per one solidification product, and it is compared with data obtained before the solidification treatment. On or more of the two steps are introduced to the radioactive waste processing system. With such procedures, radioactivity data before and after the preparation of solidification treatment is made definite, thereby enabling to facilitate administration for individual solidification product upon transporting and intermediate storage for the solidification product.
