Modifications of Gas Thermal Conductivity Models and Review of Gap Conductance model
Description
An important material properties and related models are summarized for calculation of gap temperature drop. Especially, new gap gas material property models were developed which can calculated thermal conductivity as a function of pressure and temperature. When compared with previously proposed model and IAPWS-97 data, newly developed model show a very exact prediction results. Newly developed correlation and various models which summarized in this report can be used usefully for calculation of pressurized water reactor fuel rod gap temperature drop
