Welding technology in steam generator service
Description
The possibilities of repairing nuclear power plant while in operation, including the replacement of complete heavy components have been considerably further developed by the development of a remotely controlled welding technique and associated procedures. Using, as an example, the steam generator in a pressurized water reactor, various possibilities for the rehabilitation or complete replacement of these components are discussed. Equipment and procedures for rehabilitation measures are described. The qualitative advantages are indicated. (orig.)

Die Moeglichkeiten der Reparatur in Betrieb befindlicher Kernkraftwerke bis hin zum Austausch ganzer Schwerkomponenten wurden durch die Entwicklung fernbedienbarer Schweisstechnik und begleitender Verfahren wesentlich weiterentwickelt. Am Beispiel des Dampferzeugers in einem Druckwasserreaktor werden verschiedene Moeglichkeiten der Sanierung bzw. des gesamten Austausches dieser Komponente dargestellt. Es werden Geraete und Verfahren zur Sanierung vorgestellt. Die qualitativen Vorteile werden geschildert. (orig.)Additional details
