Steam by-pass systems for fossil and nuclear power plants

Creators

  • 1. Delas-Weir, Levallois-Perret (France)

Description

The steam by-pass systems which are used by Delas-Weir for the fossil and nuclear power plants are arranged and designed according to specific rules depending upon the type of plant and the characteristics of steam to be discharged into the condenser. These design choices are the results of a wide research and development program carried out particularly in cooperation with Electricite de France. They have been validated by the experience acquired during the site testing and the operation of many fossil and nuclear plants in France and abroad
