Description
LiBH4 interaction with LiOH under reagent ratio from 1:1 to 1:4 is studied within 20-600 deg C temperature interval by DTA method. The reaction occurs with exoeffect and Li3BO3, LiH production and hydrogen isolation. An additional gas release stage linked with LiBH4 thermal decay is observed under LiBH4 excesses. In case of LiOH excesses its interaction with LiH takes place, which leads to the release of the whole amount of hydrogen, contained in the system, to the gaseous phase. 5 refs
