Evaluation of regional metallogenetic perspective for uranium and copper in Zhongtiaoshan from the sources of some early precambrian rocks evidenced by rare earth elements

Description

Rare earth elements (REE) are well known as effective geochemical indicators for the judgement of material sources of the rocks. The material sources, especially the sources of ore bed (sometimes containing ore sources) are very important to evaluate the regional metallogenetic perspective. The authors mainly study the material sources of representative rocks in the Upper Archean Shushui Complex, the Lower Proterozoic Jiangxian Group and the Bizigou Formation of Zhongtiao Group of the ore bed from REE geochemistry's point of view. Furthermore, according to the material sources (or ore sources) of ore-bearing rocks, metallogenetic perspective for uranium and copper is evaluated, and some favourable regions for uranium and copper mineralization in Zhongtiaoshan is pointed out
