Analysis on uranium metallogenic condition and new prospecting idea in Huanggao area, the middle part Lujing orefield
Description
Huanggao area is located in the middle part of Lujing orefield, which is important granite type rich-uranium orefield in southern China. It also is located in graben, which is composed by NE Re-Shi fracture. The uranium mineralization is controlled by faulted structure and alkaline altered rock. In recent years, the new ore guide is discovered by geological prospecting and exploration. The width of mineralized alteration zone is more than 400 m,It is discovered in the lower plate of NE trending silicified fracture zones QFII. The uranium ore body is discovered in alteration zone, intersection-type uranium deposit is found, which occurrences at the junction of lamprophyre vein and silicified fracture zones. The uranium mineralization is controlled by faulted structure and lamprophyre vein. In conclusion, the depth of exploration is insufficient in the proved deposit(point), the lower plate of ore-controlling fault have huge prospecting space, intersection-type uranium deposit is range of reconnaissance.
