Fracture mechanics approach to the analysis of environmental fatique crack growth behavior
Description
The power law on fatigue crack growth rate, da/dN=f(ΔK), has been well recognized by most researchers and technicians during the past decade, and special attention has been paid to the environmental effect on fatigue crack growth in these years. According to the several researcher's reports, test environment has a great influence on fatigue crack growth behavior. In the present paper, the dependence of environmental fatigue crack growth behavior on the stress intensity factor range ΔK were considered and investigated on the basis of many researchers experimental data ever reported.
