Study of structure and plotting thermokinetic diagram of austenite decomposition in 10GN2MFA steel

Description
Thermokinetic diagram of the 10GN2MFA steel austenite transformation on cooling at rats from 0.015 deg C/s (annealing) up to 100...200 deg C/s (quenching) is ploted. It is shown that the steel under study is characterized by high stability of the overcooled austenite and should be referred to the bainitic class. Heating up to 880...900 deg C and subsequent cooling at the rates of 0.6...1.0 deg C/s make it possible to obtain ferrite-bainite structure analogous to presently accepted scheme of items thermoprocessing. The 10GN2MFA steel is used for NPP steam generator collector shells
