Investigation into protective ability of oxide films on pearlite steel

Description
Consideration is given to the stability of oxide films appearing on a carbon steel in the flows of deaerated and oxygen-rich water. A beneficial effect is shown of oxygen on the protective power of oxide films on the pearlite steel in water at 20, 80 and 287 deg C
