Interaction of tantalum with residual gases during heating in vacuum

  • 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Kharkov (Ukraine). Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst. Nizkikh Temperatur

Description

Gas desorption from tantalum during annealing up to 2400 K in high vacuum was investigated spectra of gas desorption were compared at all annealing stages. Interaction of tantalum with gases was studied by measuring residual resistance R. Minimum value of R was found at 1875 K and this fact indicates that gases are absorbed by tantalum mostly at this temperature
