Analogy between classical and quantum mechanics
Description
An analogy between quantum and classical mechanics is drawn from three points of view, viz. that of kinematics, dynamics and finally, the role of transformation theory in the two cases. The first two aspects are treated briefly and the third one is dealt with in detail, by considering the unitary transformations and the canonical transformations and the theories underlying these concepts.
