On the origin of solar wind turbulence

Description

The spectra of velocity and magnetic field fluctuations in de Solar Wind strongly suggests fully developed turbulence, as they cover several decades of frequencies. The possibility that nonlinear interactions play a rolein the origin of this turbulence is investigated by revisiting the Helios data. (H.W.). 16 refs.; 4 figs.; 1 tab
