Description
The Proton LINAC at 1 GeV is under proposed at Centre for Advanced Technology (CAT) as a part of pulsed Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) and Accelerator Driven Sub-critical Systems (ADSS). Proton LINAC requires a pulsed H+/H- source as an injector. This paper describes the preliminary design study of 75 keV, 25 mA RF Driven Multicusp Negative H- source with 500 microsec pulse width and 25 Hz repetition rate. (author)
