Small intestine tumors in CT scan
Description
Tumors of small intestine are rare, represent less than 5 % of all gastrointestinal malignancies. Differential diagnosis of tumors of small intestine is wide, but some tumors have a CT in specific morphological appearance, which can lead to more accurate diagnosis. CT is the modality that allows to determine the location and extent of the diseases and associated findings and it is currently the gold standard for imaging of suspected tumors of the small intestine.
