A case of optic atrophy occurring after radiation therapy

Description
Optic atrophy was observed in the right eye of a 64-year-old male 13 months after the treatment of nasopharyngeal tumor by telecobalt irradiation with a total dose of 6000 rad in 24 fractions over 42 days. Literature suggested that this optic atrophy was induced by the radiation therapy. (Chiba, N.)
