Physiological effects by fast oscillating magnetic field gradients

Creators

Description

This paper discusses echo planar imaging (EPI) which employs rapidly oscillating magnetic field gradients and is an important variable for quantifying the physiologic effects of these fast-oscillating gradients in the field variation in time sB/dt. The author suggests that to obtain sufficient spatial resolution, this value can exceed 90 T/sec in EPI research systems. Experimental methods and materials are presented and results are explained
