Kinetic study of crack propagation under symmetrical and pulsating loading

Description
The results of investigation on fatigue crack initiation and propagation are presented for steels 15Kh2NMFA, 08Kh14MF under symmetrical and pulsating uniaxial load. A possibility is shown for predicting the number of cycles to fatigue crack initiation from the tip of a sharp notch. The effect of stress ratio on resistance to fatigue crack initiation and growth is established
