Anisotropy of Young and shear moduli and Poisson's coefficient of B2-phase of T50Ni48Fe2 single crystal under hydrostatic pressure up to 0.6 GPa

Description

Calculations of Young moduli and shift, Poisson coefficient depending on the direction on (100) and (110) plains of Ti50Ni46Fe2 monocrystal B2-phase are presented. Calculations are performed on the base of the measured rates of transverse and longitudinal ultrasonic waves, propagating in the alloy indicated at atmospheric and hydrostatic pressure of 0.6 GPa and 298 K temperature. It is shown that in contrast to temperature action under its drop on the way to martensitic transformation B2→R, pressure superposition on the alloy in a similar pretransitional state, increases the crystal lattice anisotropy. 19 refs.; 1 fig.; 3 tabs
