Description
The alternating current (ac) losses of differently prepared NbN on Mo substrates were investigated using an electronic wattmeter. A rather high critical current density, low surface barrier, and low ac losses were found to exist in NbN layers produced by the magnetron sputtering technique. A minimum of dissipation was observed in NbN too
