Study on radiological impact by different modelling techniques in case of exploded RDD

  • 1. Radiation Safety Systems Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)

Description

Evaluation of the radiological impact due to exploded RDD is important to plan the response measures, and it is attempted in this paper. Impact assessment has been carried out using mathematical models for radiological sources which are having huge industrial/medical applications. Radiation sources (60Co (3.7 x 108 MBq); 137Cs (1.1 x 108 MBq); 1921r (3.7 x 102 MBq)) were chosen to make assessment for potential scenarios
