Description
Laser isotope separation, laser stimulation of chemical reactions and the application of laser techniques to the study of nuclei at considerable distance from the region of stability and of polarized and exotic particles - all are methods which are coming to the fore of the attention of experts as a result of the implementation of tunable lasers with a narrow spectral line. The said methods are briefly described. (J.P.)
