Isotopic study of groundwater in Aqishan preselected section for China's high level radioactive waste disposal repository
- 1. CNNC Key Laboratory on Geological Disposal of High-level Radioactive Waste, CNNC Beijing Research Institute of Uranium Geology, Beijing (China)
Description
Taking Aqishan preselected section of high level radioactive waste disposal repository in our country at present stage as an example, based on the field investigation and sample measurement, the isotopic characteristics and its hydrogeological significance were studied. Combined with hydrogeological conditions, the origin and alternation ability of groundwater were recognized. The results show that the groundwater in study area is mainly recharged from infiltration of local rainfall. The alternation ability of deep groundwater is clearly weaker than that of shallow groundwater. (authors)
