The features to use the 'period of reactor' as a parameter important for safety of NPPs with WWER-1000

Description
This paper deals with the results of calculations and analysis of some reactor system operational modes of WWER-1000, for which scram activation by period takes place. One of such modes is the accelerated unit unloading. For this mode different features of unreasonable activation of ST signals, that is associated with algorithm used in the neutron flux control system, have been considered. Another WWER-1000 mode with fast reactivity insertion caused by control rod withdrawal of a control and protection system (CR CPS) has been considered too.
