Description

The diffusion phenomena of 137Cs in synthetic and natural local rocks has been studied. The experimental results show that the diffusion coefficient depends on the natural of rocks and it follows as Marble> Limestone> Crystalline > Dolomite >Cement. The experimental data have been fitted using many different solutions of Fick equation. The results show that the effective diffusion coefficient is proportion with isotopic diffusion coefficient by porosity factor
