Heavy Flavor Production at the Tevatron

Creators

  • 1. Johns Hopkins University, 3400 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21218 (United States)

Description

Recent results on heavy flavor production from the CDF and DO experiments at the Tevatron are reported, using up to 1 fb-1 of accumulated luminosity per experiment. The first observation of resonant Λb0π states, consistent with the lowest-lying charged Σb states, is announced. Measurements are made of the B hadron relative fragmentation fractions and production cross sections of the B+ and Y(1S). An upper limit for the production cross section of ηb→J/ψJ/ψ is also set
