On the selectivity of 13C NMR lines broadening in vanadium(5) ethylenediaminetetraacetate aqueous solutions by complexes of Gd(3)

Description
The article reviews the effect of gadolinium(3) paramagnetic complexes with iminodiacetic, 1,2-cyclohexadiaminepentaacetic and diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acids and [Mn(H2O)edta]2-complex on the width of 13C NMR spectrum lines of vanadium complexonate [VO2edta]3-. It is shown that the nature of paramagnetic cation effect on vanadium complexonate spectrum depends significantly on the structure of the coordination sphere of paramagnetic ion and, finaly, on its ability to form shirt-lived mixed-ligand heteronuclear complexex
