Diffusion of uranium and gadolinium in fabrication of (U,Gd) O2 nuclear fuel
- 1. Institut Jozef Stefan, Ljubljana (Yugoslavia)
- 2. VTOZD Montanistika, FNT, Ljubljana (Yugoslavia)
Description
Interdiffusion coefficients of (U,Gd) O2 nuclear fuel, fabricated under different conditions were measured by α autoradiography with MA-ND-α track etch detector. At the sintering temperature of 1700 deg C the value of interdiffusion coefficient was found to be (3.29±0.3) x 10 -11 cm 2 s -1. (author)
