Radioassay of thyroid hormones and its clinical application
Description
Various radioassay methods such as T3 resin uptake, T3 RIA, T4 CPBA, and T4 RIA are reviewed. Among them, T3 RIA is better than T3 resin uptake, and T4 RIA is more effective than T4 CPBA in assay reliability and simplicity points of view. The general trends of applications as well as the validation of the assay data on the medical diagnosis are briefly reviewed. (author)
