Description

The method of complex processing of borosilicate ores by sintering with CaCl2 and NaCl2 chlorides has been presented, including the main stages: preparation of mixture of boron raw material and CaCl2 after the grinding: mixture sintering at 750-850 deg C; the process of cake grinding; aqueous treatment for chlorides removing; filtration after the aqueous treatment; hydrochloric acid decomposition; extraction of valuable components (BO3, Fe2Cl3, AlCl3); extraction of CaCl2 remains after the aqueous treatment reuse. The flowsheet on treatment of borosilicate ores by sintering with calcium chlorides has been proposed.
