Description

The title of a panel discussion is 'Integrated NPP Life Management - Why and How?' Why yes? This is a safety concern but at the same time it can be also an economical issue. Why no? This is probably neither safety nor economical issue. And How? During the Symposium there were presented approaches of National Regulatory Authorities, the licence approaches and the concrete fully technical papers as well, dealing with specific ageing problems. If we suppose that for the selection of the SCCs into Ageing Management Programme there exist justified criteria, the next issue is an identification, monitoring and evaluation of ageing mechanisms affecting concrete system, structure and component
