Strange and charm hadron physics at J-PARC in future

Description

We have proposed spectroscopic studies of strange and charmed baryons by means of missing mass techniques at the J-PARC high-momentum beam line. Through systematic measurements of mass spectra, production rates, and decay properties of excited baryons with heavy flavors, We expect to learn important correlations between quarks and effective degrees of freedom to describe hadrons. We are constructing a high-resolution, high-momentum secondary beam line and a spectrometer system, which would provide a new platform for hadron physics at J-PARC. (author)
