Description
The condensate distribution over the surface of plane elements, arranged on the receiver surface in the form of a spherical segment and an eight-sided pyramid, is calculated. The optimum location of the electron beam evaporator with respect to the chamber axis, the radius of curvature and the inclination angle of the face to the base plane of these receiver surfaces are chosen on the basis of the results of a calculation for the VU-1A vacuum coater
