Majorana parameter and mixed symmetry state
Creators
Description
Considerable interest has recently been shown in both the experimental and theoretical study of magnetic dipole properties in even-even nuclei. Properties of a new class of collective M1 states with mixed-symmetry character in the proton-neutron variable are discussed in terms of F-spin symmetry within the model IBM-2. Therefore, it has been shown that the choice of Majorana parameters have a large effect on the energy spectra and electromagnetic transition of some nuclei. It is possible that the fragmentation of M1 transition will be obtained in the frame of IBM-2
