Diffusion welding of iron-borosilicate glass using plastic plate
Description
The procedure for producing ironborosilicate glass joints using diffusion welding in vacuum is investigated and developed. Investigations into welding of ironborosilicate glass have revealed a possibility of producing solid vacuum tight joint with the use of intermediate plastic aluminium or copper plate. The diffusion welding procedure for articles of such glass is developed that ensures production of precise joints
