Description

Considered are the methods for separation of molybdenum and tungsten while extracting W from concentrates and secondary raw materials in the form of WO3. It is shown that a method of selective separation of molybdenum in the form of trisulfide is the best among the precipitation methods of separation of molybdenum and tungsten. The method of selective extraction of molybdenum from solutions, containing hydrogen peroxide, provides the deep purification of tungsten from molybdenum. The acid-extraction method provides the decrease of molybdenum content in the tungstic acid down to 0.02-0.04%. The methods of separation of molybdenum and tungsten based on the rectification of highest chloride mixture( WCl6 and MoCl5) and on sublimation of molybdenum dioxidichloride are also effective
