Effects accompanying the channeling of ultrarelativistic electrons in crystals
- 1. Belorusskii Gosudarstvennyi Universitet, Minsk, Belorussian SSR
Description
The numerical solution of a two-dimensional kinetic equation of the Fokker-Planck type is used to determine the dechanneling function, the spectral and spectral-angular distribution of the intensity of Kumakhov radiation, and the total radiational energy loss of ultrarelativistic axially channeled electrons. The influence of the target characteristics (composition, temperature, channel type, and orientation of the crystal to the particle beam) and particle energy on the basic channeling and radiation parameters of the particles is determined. 14 references
