Creators
- 1. Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, Canberra (Australia)
Description
World energy needs to the year 2000 are reviewed. The author concludes that the only possible factors which can have a major influence by the end of the century are increased coal production, increased nuclear power production and increased energy conservation. Each of these is discussed in terms of the interrelation between metals and energy and the magnitude of the problems confronting both the metals and energy industries are highlighted
