Recent results in neutrino physics and future prospect

  • 1. Delhi University, Delhi (India)

Description

In this talk, I will discuss the open questions in neutrino physics, present the latest results on neutrino mixing parameters, status of Mass Hierarchy and CP violation in the neutrino sector from the long-baseline experiments. I would also discuss the future prospect of disentangling the Mass Hierarchy of neutrinos and measure the CP violating parameters from long-baseline experiments in USA and Japan, as well as reactor based experiment in China. I will also briefly discuss the possibility of measuring the direct mass of electron neutrinos from the KATRIN experiment in Germany and the limits/measurement of neutrino mass and hierarchy from several neutrino-less double beta-decay experiments around the world.
