Electron cytochemical detection of nickel ions under pathological conditions in the rat heart
- 1. Semmelweis Orvostudomanyi Egyetem, Budapest (Hungary)
Description
A new method has been elaborated for determination of the location of nickel ions in the tissues. Basis of the procedure is the complex formation between dimethyl-glyoxim and nickel. Specificity of the reaction was proved by energy-dispersive X-ray microanalysis of the dense particles observed by electron microscopy. (L.E.)
