Automatic reactor start-up device
- 1. Nippon Atomic Industry Group Co. Ltd., Tokyo
Description
Purpose: To automatically perform control rod withdrawal such that the temperature of reactor water increases with less rising-rate than a predetermined rate upon start-up of a BWR type reactor. Constitution: Prior to the operation of a control rod in accordance with a predetermined control rod withdrawal sequence, the change with time of the reactor water temperature resulted from the control rod operation is forecast by calculation, and the control rod withdrawal is performed only when the rising rate of the forecast reactor water temperature is within a predetermined value.
