Description
The availability of the 178Hfm2 target, a four-quasiparticle aligned 16+ state, has allowed to observe for the first time a blocking effect for a L=0(p,t) transition between even-even nuclei. The same effect should be expected on an even-even target in a neutron quasiparticle aligned state. (authors). 13 refs., 3 figs., 1 tab
