Production of high-spin mesons in π-p collisions
Description
The dependence of the relative probability of two-particle decay of a meson on the meson spin is determined by studying various models. This dependence is then used to calculate the cross section for production of high-spin mesons in π-p collisions using the one-pion exchange model. Results are given for the 6++ and 8++ mesons belonging to the f trajectory
