Description

The purpose of this paper is to provide an overall perspective on the potential role of macro algal species to partially mitigate carbon dioxide buildup in the atmosphere and to suggest their potential value as energy and food production. This paper also proposes the potential long-scale deployment of macro algal farms in the open ocean. A conceptual design of a farm cluster is discussed.(TEC). 18 refs
