Influence of x-ray on the Zn-Ni electrodeposition from acidic electrolyte

Description
The x-ray influence on the microstructure formation of Zn-Ni coatings on mild steel from acidic electrolyte is investigated. The coatings, formed under x-ray irradiation, consist of Ni5Zn21 solid solution. Deposited under x-ray irradiation coating have a homogenous surface, with low hardness, high adhesion to substrate, and friction coefficient. (authors)
