The role of computed tomography and other methods in the diagnosis of diseases of the biliary tracts

Description
The procedures to diagnose various diseases of the biliary tracts using CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, RI methods, etc were described with special reference to CT. Hydrochol-padrin-conray (HPC) method developed by the authors was introduced. The procedures were, (1) plain CT (2) intramuscular injection of padrin (3) intravenous injection of hydrochol and (4) after 30 min. CT with intravenous injection of conray. A calculus was clearly displayed by HPC method. (Nakanishi, T.)
